A bit about me:

Eight years ago, at the age of 19, my boyfriend (who is now my husband), convinced me to hit the gym. Since that day, my life has been totally changed! I have been dedicated to the weight lifting lifestyle since then. I have always been strong but I didnt realised how strong I was before last year. I started doing powerlifting in September 2001 and I did my first competition in November. So far, I did three competitions, I broke 3 national records and I won best lifter title twice. I will participate at a world comp in April 2002 where I expect to do a 315 squat, a 185lbs bench press and a 330lbs deadlift.!

I spend 15 hours a week in my basement gym working out with my husband, who is also my coach!

As a high school teacher, I think I impressed some students with my strenght! My ultimate goal is proving to the face of the world that a women could be strong, lean, muscular, intelligent  and FEMININE
