A bit about me

My career actually began at the age of 2 in West Virginia where my parents enrolled me in Aerial Port gymnastics.  I trained there as a competitive gymnast (along side Mary Lou Retton) until I eventually moved to South Carolina.

Once in South Carolina I decided to try other sports as well.  I began cheering on my high school varsity cheerleading team as a freshman.  I also played Varsity soccer.  I went to college at the University of South Carolina (Same school IFBB Pro Kelly Ryan cheered for.....Go Gamecocks!!) where I continued to play soccer and cheered on the Varsity squad there.

My senior year I was named team captain and voted Best All-Around by my peers.  While in school I appeared in Nike ad for their latest cheerleading shoe.  I was a head instructor for CCA/NCA a national cheerleading organization.

All my life I have been involved in sports and on the competitive side of itboth cheerleading squads were ranked nationally.  Upon graduation from college,  I basically needed a new challengeso it was natural for me to try fitness!!  I began my training at Tres Gym in Charleston, SC.

Now settled in Richmond, VAI am trained by JJ Thompson who is an up and coming force in the bodybuilding world as well.  His method of training requires you to be very focused and disciplined.  His knowledge of the sport is unbelievable.  A special thank you to him for taking me to the next level!  I do all of my own choreography.  I love the routine round!  My goal is to attain my pro card this summer at the USAs in Las Vegas.  I believe fitness is a lifestyle and a very enjoyable sport.  I hope the crowd enjoys my performance as much as I enjoy being on stage!
