A bit about me:

My best friend, an old-school power lifter, initially got me started after I became burned out from karate (I was teaching 4-5 classes per week and didn’t have time to take the classes I needed to improve my own performance. My kids were also small at that time and needed more of my time, especially in the evening hours).

Anyway, I had trained with weights before, but not for size and/or strength, so he started me on a heavy training program to prepare me to compete as a power lifter. After I had trained for about 6 months, people kept suggesting that I should try bodybuilding, so here I am!!
