A bit about me:
I was a competitive gymnast until I
was 13 years old. From there, I began working out in the high school football
field house. I read Muscle and Fitness magazines religiously and taught myself
good form and technique, which I had a natural knack for. I was working out keep the conditioning I had gained from gymnastics,
and also had begun to admire the physiques of Corey Everson and Linda Murray. I played every sport possible in high school
(volleyball, basketball, track, tennis, and competitive cheerleading). I had always
been told to get into fitness or bodybuilding, but it wasn’t until 2004 when I felt I could or really wanted to put
it as priority.
I started working at Houston Gym and
was introduced to Johnnie West. With his knowledge, my background, and a little
fine-tuning, I have made a very successful path in my relatively short time as bodybuilder. I
started bodybuilding because I had to see what I could do. I didn’t want
to let time go by without knowing. Now that I have, I could not have anticipated
this degree of acceleration. With Johnnie as my coach and nutritionist, chances
of reaching my fullest potential are as high as they’ve ever been. I’m excited about the next year and others
to come.
