A bit about me:
Well I got started in grade 7 when a guy in my class told me kickboxing was just for guys. So being as stubborn as I am and
that I wouldn't let anyone tell me what I could and couldn't do, I joined kickboxing just to prove a point. I did that for
a few months before I moved on to karate. I then started to take notice of the women that were displayed in the fitness magazines
and decided that I wanted to look like them, so I joined a gym.
It was from that point that I fell in love with weight training and how it made me feel. One day at the gym a bodybuilding
show was on tv and I was just mesmerized by the physiques of these people and I knew that that is what I wanted to do. The
rest is history.
I started to educate myself on the science of this sport and have been involved in it now for the last 10 years. My inspirations
are my trainers Bruce Sweeney and Mike Griffin of SIMPLY FOR LIFE, my mom and dad who showed me never to give up on what
I want, and my best Friend Anna who always kept me on the right track.
